St. Philip the Apostle School 80th Anniversary Teaching, inspiring and nurturing God’s children for over 80 years, St. Philip the Apostle School is a Catholic parish school celebrating this monumental anniversary with various activities slated during the 2007 – 2008 school year. Serving economically and ethnically diverse students in grades kindergarten through eighth, the school was founded in 1927. The school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Western Catholic Educational Association. The school is also supported by a Parent Teacher Organization, School Board of Trustees and parishioners of St. Philip the Apostle Church. SUMMER HOURS - The school office will be open on Monday, August 4, 2008. Please call ahead for the exact times in August as these change to accomodate summer workshops and retreats. Thank you! Falcon's Nest - Falcons Nest will be available during the first week of school starting on September 3, 2008. Falcon's Nest is open until 6:00 P.M. Scrip Volunteers - Volunteers are needed to sell scrip weekdays from 7:45 to 8:15 and from 2:45 to 3:15. This is an easy way to get service hours and a great way to meet people! If you can committ to one half hour either in the morning or afternoon, please contact Karen Conley in the office (ext. 444). Fall Sports - Are you interested in coaching this fall? . Falcon Pride Jacket Order Form - CLICK HERE FOR THE FALCON PRIDE JACKET ORDER FORM! Please print out the order form and turn it into the school office by June 2, 11:00 AM. If you are adding activities to an already purchased jacket then please do not forget to turn in the jacket as well. Jackets will also be available at the start of the 2008/2009 school year.
