Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

The Parent Teacher Organization at St. Philip the Apostle School is very active in the affairs of the school.  The PTO provides fundraising support, social and educational programs for parents, Christian community service and classroom assistance, and appreciation events for our faculty and staff.  The PTO is integrated into all areas of our school and provides a bedrock of support upon which our school depends.  Given the challenge the PTO takes on every year in support of our school, the work of volunteers is absolutely essential.  All school families are required to donate volunteer hours to the school and the PTO annually to help staff, manage and organize events.

Fundraising Programs

Every year the PTO leads the way in raising funds for the direct operation of the school.  Some programs sponsored by the PTO include:

  • Gift Wrap Sale
  • Book Fair
  • Fall Family Festival
  • Golf Tournament and Awards Dinner
  • Dinner Dance and Auction

Social Programs

Meeting other school families and developing friendships build our school’s unique community.  The PTO is active in welcoming new school families and providing opportunities for socializing throughout the school year.  Key social events hosted by the PTO include:

  • New Family Welcome
  • Back to School BBQ
  • New Parent Coffee
  • ”Beautify St. Philip” Work Days
