Confirmation is the sacrament by which those already baptized receive the seal of the Holy Spirit. Usually taking place after Baptism and the Eucharist, Confirmation tends to be the last sacrament of initiation. More accurately, though, it is a beginning, a new call to go forth in mission to serve the Church and the world. While God always does the choosing, the candidate freely cooperates with that grace, because now they are at the age of reason.
