What is a Newman Center?
A Newman Center is a Catholic ministry focused on serving students and young adults on university and college campuses, offering the sacraments, providing theological and spiritual formation, and hosting social gatherings and service projects.
We strive to reinforce each young adult's truest identity as a beloved child of God through the transformative pillars of Prayer, Small Groups, Spiritual Direction, and Community Outreach. Entering curious, our young adults flourish into a foundational commitment to Catholic living.
What do we offer?
We offer a Mass in candlelight every Sunday at 7 pm, followed by a talk or fellowship, a monthly Newman Night, First Friday Adoration, and socials for young adults (20s & 30s). We also offer special events for the students of Pasadena City College, Caltech, and Fuller Seminary. Our pastor and chaplain are available to offer spiritual direction.
