concert space rental at st. philip the apostle

We are pleased to make our parish spaces available for concerts and musical performances that are consistent with the sacred character and mission of St. Philip the Apostle.


General Guidelines

  • All events must be respectful of the sacred nature of the church and parish grounds.
  • Programs and content should be appropriate to a Catholic setting and are subject to review prior to approval.
  • Use of the sanctuary is reserved primarily for sacred or classical music.
  • Event times must include set-up and clean-up by the rental party within the reserved window.
  • Final approval of all events rests with the parish.


Spaces Available

  • Church (Sanctuary): Ideal for concerts and larger performances. Seats up to 500 people. Pipe organ and piano available.
  • Newman Center: Suitable for recitals and as concert prep or reception space. Seats up to 40 people.
  • Outdoor Patio: Available for receptions and informal events.


Rates (Per Use, <4 hr)

  • Church (Sanctuary): Student / Parish Groups: Free of charge. Standard Groups: $600.
  • Newman Center: Student / Parish Groups: Free of charge. Standard Groups: $200.
  • Outdoor Patio: Student / Parish Groups: Free of charge. Standard Groups: $100.
  • All of the Above: Student / Parish Groups: Free of charge. Standard Groups: $800.


Other Notes

  • Space rental includes access to the parish parking lot (up to 200 spaces).
  • The church (sanctuary) and Newman Center lighting are adjustable as appropriate for your performance.
  • Space usage for a separate-day rehearsal (<3 hours) is available for an additional fee of $100.
