"Our earthly liturgies will never be more than a pale reflection of the liturgy celebrated in the Jerusalem on high, [... But] may our own celebrations nonetheless resemble that liturgy as closely as possible and grant us a foretaste of it!"

— Pope Benedict XVI, Homily in Paris, Sept. 12, 2008

Spiritual life at the Newman Center centers around the Sunday 7 PM Candlelight Mass. In this sacred moment of quiet reverence before God, college students and young adults serve as lectors, altar servers, sacristans, musicians, and extraordinary ministers.

Sacred Music

Our singers and organist are composed of young adults who draw from a 1,200-year treasury of Catholic music, including Gregorian chants and four-part hymnody, to glorify God and aid the congregation in worship.

Please see sample music here. Email Daniel to serve musically!

The Church Spills Out

The 7 PM Mass is followed each week by an evening of fellowship or dinner. During warmer months, a wine and cheese social takes place on the patio most Sundays after Mass.
