BOY SCOUTS AND CUB SCOUTS

Purpose/Mission
The purpose of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and the Scout Law. Cub Scout Pack 131 is a program for boys who are at least 6 years old or in first grade through fifth grade. Boy Scout Troop 131 is for any boy who has completed the fifth grade, or who is a Cub Scout who has earned the Arrow of Light Award, or is at least 11 years old but not yet 18. The St. Philip Cub and Boy Scout program is open to any boy who is a member of the Parish, without regard to the school he attends.
